Welcome to the SHIRA Meteorite Museum (Web) !!

Currently, the SHIRA Meteorite Museum is preparing for the next meteorite exhibitions, and we are preparing to hold the exhibition in January and February.

It will be held overseas in February, but there is also a project to hit the 133kg Swedish Muonionalusta meteorite, which became popular at the Expo, and I think it will be a meteorite exhibition that surpasses the World Expo, but We will send a total of more than 500 kg of meteorites overseas, so we have talked to a Japanese shipping company and would like to ship and return without any problems.
(The meteorite exhibition for January will be held in Tokyo, but it is not open to the public.)

In addition, a larger meteorite exhibition is scheduled in Southeast Asia this year, and the local Ministry of Education and Tourism are also being talked about, and if it is realized, I think it will be a major tourism event in Southeast Asia.

The meteorite is a gift from the universe to us humans, and we want as many people as possible to see it, and it is exciting that a total of 570 types of meteorite collection will go overseas, but we prepared while being careful not to damage it.
